Southpoint Downing Designs We have developed a range of paddles for use with Stand Up Boards. a carbon blade, shaft and handle The paddle weighs approximately 800 grams, so it is very light. The benefit of the carbon is the stiffness. The carbon allows the maximum amount of your effort to be transferred to torque giving you maximum thrust per stroke. The handle is not glued in place and allow the paddler to adjust the length of the paddle 6 - 8 inches above their height before they glue it into place. The blade is 8 1/2" and give great performance no matter if you are in the surf or on flat water. The paddle comes in a deluxe protective carry bag.
