Modern Surfboards - 9'6" Longboard Surfboard Finally a Modern Longboard that is modern!! We developed this board over a year with input from a number of people. The main feature is the contour rail stringers: these are not made of your traditional wood but instead we have used heavy duty fiberglass laminated vertically along the rails. This gives the board a different more alive feel. Second feature you will notice is the exaggerated bottom contours; this board is more like a high performance shortboard when you turn it over. A deep full length concave that flows into sculptured concave Vee tail gives the board an exciting ability to turn as soon as you want it to. Finally we have given you the option to ride the board with three different fin set ups: firstly as a quad set up, second as a 2 + 1 and finally as a single fin. We also opted for the rounded pin tail as it was more performance orientated. Feedback from the Test pilots was so good we had trouble getting the boards back.
