The 2018-2019 Xcel Women’s Drylock offers luxury and utility in one sweet package. Xcel deals in warmth, performance, and durability, no matter how cold the water, and this is their best women’s wetsuit. Fine Japanese NanoPrene Lite neoprene, made of limestone instead of oil, warms more, weighs less, and better respects the planet. Plush Celliant Black, a medical-grade lining, heats the entire wetsuit: high pile hollow fiber in the torso, and silky high pile jacquard in the sleeves and lower body. A new entry system makes the on/off easier and battens down the hatches. FusionX tape covers the triple-glued and blind-stitched seams. Drylock wrist donut seals and Nexskin ankle seals keep water out. Top of the shelf, the Women’s Drylock is the same as the men’s, only better, because it’s made for women who surf.
