The BC Fish is Scott Rowley’s refined take on the classic twin-keel fish—built for speed, flow, and versatility. Inspired by the original San Diego outlines but tailored for the colder, punchier surf of the Pacific Northwest, the BC (short for “Bastard Child”) blends retro DNA with functional updates: modern rail transitions, a tuned bottom contour, and a slightly more pulled-in tail. This board flies through flat spots, locks into high lines, and holds speed with very little effort.
Fast, skatey, and surprisingly capable in a range of conditions—the BC Fish isn’t just a throwback, it’s a daily-driver twin for surfers who like to go fast and draw clean lines.
Dimensions
Ranging from 5'6" to 6'4", the BC Fish has a wide nose, flat to moderate rocker, and a deep swallowtail that provides lift and release. The bottom features a slight single to double concave, helping generate speed and transition smoothly rail-to-rail. The foil is balanced for both paddling power and responsiveness underfoot.
Fin Setup
The BC Fish runs best as a true twin with large keels—delivering classic down-the-line speed and the freedom to draw stylish, arcing turns. Optional quad boxes are sometimes included for those looking to tune their ride toward more hold or tighter pivots in punchy conditions.

The customer will pay shipping for any product returned. In the case of an exchange, the customer will also pay shipping for the new product. Clearance items are final and not returnable in most instances.
When returning items to us, please use a courier service with tracking to ensure arrival. The customer is responsible for the returned product until it is delivered to us.
Once we receive a returnable item, refunds will be processed using the original method of payment.
