Designed by Matt Calvani, the Pintail Lightweight Type 2 is a refined evolution of a proven classic, blending timeless 1960s influence with modern performance sensibilities. This updated version revisits the original semi-pig outline with a flatter nose rocker and a more defined pintail, delivering a smoother glide, quicker responsiveness, and increased control in critical sections.
By shifting the wide point back, the Type 2 becomes noticeably more sensitive and responsive underfoot, allowing for fast rail-to-rail transitions and subtle positioning adjustments. The flatter nose rocker creates a smooth, log-like glide and sets up effortlessly for longer, more stable nose rides. Combined with the redesigned outline, this board paddles easily and gets into waves early, making it ideal for clean point breaks and lined-up beachbreaks alike.
A refined tail rocker and added release through the bottom contour eliminate stiffness and give the pintail a freer, faster feel. The defined hard edge through the tail helps generate speed and maintain drive through hollow or powerful sections, making this board especially well-suited for medium to head-high surf when conditions call for control and flow.
Condition:
This board is used and in good condition, showing normal cosmetic wear from regular use. It remains fully functional and water-tight, ready to be ridden and enjoyed.

The customer will pay shipping for any product returned. In the case of an exchange, the customer will also pay shipping for the new product. Clearance items are final and not returnable in most instances.
When returning items to us, please use a courier service with tracking to ensure arrival. The customer is responsible for the returned product until it is delivered to us.
Once we receive a returnable item, refunds will be processed using the original method of payment.
