The Channel Islands Black & White Shortboard is a proven, all-around high-performance surfboard built for down-the-line speed, drive, and quick rail-to-rail transitions. This board is heavily used and priced accordingly, making it a solid option for surfers looking for a performance shape at a budget-friendly value.
Originally based on a favorite Britt Merrick hand shape for Dane Reynolds, designed for Santa Barbara–area point breaks, the Black & White delivers a feel Dane compared to a great MBM. Its low entry rocker helps generate speed early, while a flat, staged section under the feet creates drive and control. An accelerated tail kick allows for tight turns and responsive release.
The bottom contour features a single concave running the length of the board, deepest near the front fins, blending into a subtle vee out the tail for smooth transitions. A flat deck design enhances flex, provides a solid under-foot feel, and allows for fuller rails without sacrificing performance.

Returns & Exchanges:
Please inspect your order upon receipt. We ask that you notify us of any issues within 14 days after arrival of your order. Returns must be accompanied by a Return Authorization (RA) number. Please contact us if you would like to return an item or need to exchange one. You can include your packing slip or print a copy of your order.

The customer will pay shipping for any product returned. In the case of an exchange, the customer will also pay shipping for the new product. Clearance items are final and not returnable in most instances.
When returning items to us, please use a courier service with tracking to ensure arrival. The customer is responsible for the returned product until it is delivered to us.
Once we receive a returnable item, refunds will be processed using the original method of payment.
