The Channel Islands Fred Rubble is one of CI’s most proven and popular shortboard designs, known for its versatility and user-friendly performance across a wide range of conditions. This board has been a go-to for surfers looking for a daily driver that delivers speed, control, and responsiveness from waist-high to solid head-high surf.
Designed with a slightly wider outline and forward wide point, the Fred Rubble offers a large sweet spot and excels when surfed both front-footed and off the tail. The transition from a neutral stance into powerful back-foot surfing feels smooth and effortless, making it an easy board to push harder as conditions improve.
The single-to-double concave with vee out the tail provides quick acceleration, strong down-the-line speed, and a loose, rail-to-rail feel. Medium rails give the board excellent hold when surfing vertically in the pocket, while the balanced rocker keeps it lively without feeling sticky on the face. Foam and volume are well hidden, allowing surfers to ride this model slightly shorter than their standard shortboard.

Returns & Exchanges:

The customer will pay shipping for any product returned. In the case of an exchange, the customer will also pay shipping for the new product. Clearance items are final and not returnable in most instances.
When returning items to us, please use a courier service with tracking to ensure arrival. The customer is responsible for the returned product until it is delivered to us.
Once we receive a returnable item, refunds will be processed using the original method of payment.
